Architecture, beauty, creativity and utility. How they improve the human experience.

  Architecture, beauty, creativity and utility. How they improve the human experience. Architecture binds together beauty with creativity and utility; evoking emotions and improving the human experience. The great architect, Renzo Piano formulated in his TED talk that architecture is many things; those including beauty, necessity, emotions and creativity. We can see these elements implemented in not only his projects, but also in ordinary life as we take a look at museums (Museo Menil, Houston), public plazas, theaters, cultural buildings (Stone Thermal Baths by Peter Zumthor) , and buildings of that nature. The two propositions previously presented are intrinsically linked to through the elements stated in the beginning of this post.  Beauty is one of the elements that each individual holds dear and finds value throughout. Beauty is relative in architecture, as well as in personal expression.

  Beauty is relative in architecture, as well as in personal expression.            Beauty is relative whether it be in architectural projects or in personal expression; reaching beauty by necessity or willfully. The photo taken into consideration suggests that on the left side constitutes are more refined and purposeful approach while the photo on the right suggests that the architectural language is mostly constructed out of need. The other photos depicting an indigenous person and a contemporary model suggest that beauty is relative. Both of the previous propositions suggest that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.         The pictures depicting the used of pillar can be interpreted in various ways. One perspective can arise from the left photo to be more organizing in the design of the space with clear symmetry and though out design.
